A tray is a multi-cavity thermoformed part. Trays can be designed with lids, snap devices, undercuts and and stacking lug features, from displays to carrier trays.

An insert is a thermoformed part, which normally fits into a decorative folding carton or set-up box, metal tin or molded container to hold and display the product.

Both trays and inserts can be made from different clear, colored and textured materials such as: tinted PVC, suede tone flocks, pearlized or co-extruded
materials of any type.
